You will be joining a team of 40 people which is developing a new storage product from scratch. From crafting the software stack for administration to developing connections to drives and other associated hardware components, this team of experts will work with you to create new software artifacts, designed to work with new hardware, producing true innovation while also contributing to the open-source community.

You will:

• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments

• Implement and optimize storage control solutions to ensure robust data storage configuration and efficient capacity management.

• Analyze and optimize the performance and reliability of control module. Implement monitoring solutions to track system health and performance metrics.

• Create detailed technical designs for new features and improvements. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all areas.

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to control path of storage systems.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in software development, with experience in working on storage solutions and their performance.

• Proficiency in Python programming.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems and enhance performance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of documenting technical designs, writing user manuals, and explaining complex concepts to various stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience in storage and networking standards: SCSI, SAS, NVMe, NVMe-oF, RDMA, RoCE.

• Experience in management protocols: Redfish, IPMI.

• Linux operating system experience; device drivers; embedded software/firmware; storage technologies.
