Job Summary
As a Senior Analyst in Equity Research covering the Gaming and Lodging sectors, you will serve as an industry expert and thought leader, responsible for lead coverage of approximately 25 stocks. You will publish reports and recommendations to build a credible and successful research franchise. Your role involves engaging with institutional investor clients and internal partners, to share investment recommendations and insights. You will be responsible for maintaining and building management and industry relationships to further your industry expertise.
Corporate and Investment Banking - Research
Job Responsibilities:
- Be an industry expert and thought leader on the Gaming and Lodging sectors, responsible for lead coverage of approximately 25 stocks
- Engage with institutional investor clients and internal partners, including salespeople and traders, to share investment recommendations and insight
- Build and sustain management and industry relationships and facilitate corporate access, including conferences, events, and non-deal roadshows
- Provide assistance to Capital Markets when applicable to support investor education and due diligence during equity offerings
- Build and maintain Excel-based models to forecast company financials and project industry dynamics
- Perform detailed valuation work to support stock recommendations
- Write research notes on covered companies and sector reports and prepare presentations
- Collaborate effectively and willingly across Global Research
- Develop a team of supporting analysts to drive franchise growth
- Embrace technology to drive innovation and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Four years+ of senior analyst experience covering Gaming and Lodging
- Established client and corporate relationships
- Strong accounting, finance, quantitative and business communication skills, as well as modelling, forecasting, and valuation experience
- High level of organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a provenability manage a team efficiently
- FINRA licenses Series 86 and Series 87 and/or CFA
