Your key responsibilities
The ServiceNow consultant will be responsible for active participation in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Key responsibilities include designing and developing robust applications, workflows, forms, and reports across core ServiceNow modules like ITSM, IRM, SPM, and CMDB, ensuring alignment with business requirements and seamless integration with other systems. This role also involves providing technical guidance to junior developers and end-users, actively participating in all stages of the development process, and staying abreast of the latest ServiceNow technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Furthermore, the role encompasses advising customers on optimizing business processes through ServiceNow, conducting rigorous testing of ServiceNow configurations, addressing issues, and ensuring solutions meet desired outcomes. This includes troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to ServiceNow implementations and collaborating effectively with support teams to provide timely resolution to incidents and problems.
Skills and attributes for success
- Assist Engagement Lead in workshops to gather agile user stories/epics/features using ServiceNow Agile or client-preferred Agile software.
- Direct customers on best practices across ServiceNow products and platforms.
- Develop Offerings, Solutions, and Designs for ServiceNow product implementations.
- Development of client-specific reporting needs, including Performance Analytics.
- Interface with ServiceNow technical product teams as needed.
- Prepare all client-facing and internal deliverables that are technology-related.
- Drive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiences.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert on the delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
- Creation and delivery of solutions for customers addressing requirements through technical architecture in consideration of process design and technical best practices and standards
- Collaborate and contribute to creating, deploying, and maintaining Technical Best Practices and Standards.
- Ensuring technical deliverables are complete, consistent, high quality, on time, and deliver valued outcomes.
- Willingness to travel a minimum of 30%.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Certifications in Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-Risk and Compliance and CIS-TPRM), and Application Developer (CAD).
- Ability to understand and interpret business needs and identify appropriate business and technical solutions to meet those needs.
- 2+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- 1 or more years of experience in administration of a ServiceNow instance including the management of users, groups, and roles
- Experience with UI builder development, standard list/form/navigation updates, UI actions, UI policies, Client scripts, Business rules, Workflows, Flow designer, Process Designer, ACLs, Record producers, Data transformation, Service portal and Employee Center development.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages such as JavaScript, Glide, and Jelly.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools, including Studio and Flow Designer.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow integration methods, including REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Strong proficiency in ServiceNow modules like ITSM, IRM, SPM, Custom application. 
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain all certifications and micro certifications and continual progression in developer learning plans.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present and articulately explain technical information.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience with ServiceNow Next Experience UI design configuration, Performance Analytics, Update sets, Git hub, Cloning and Upgrades.
- Experience with SDLC, Agile Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, team player, drives processes, and actively owns deliverables.
- ServiceNow version experience; Xanadu, Washington, Vancouver, Utah, Tokyo, San Diego, and Rome.
- Strong interest in cloud computing and related technologies, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $54,900 to $111,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $65,900 to $127,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
