Key job responsibilities
Lead and Develop Teams• Build and mentor a high-performing team of Business Intelligence Engineers and Business/Data Analysts
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvementStrategic Partnership and Stakeholder Management• Collaborate with leadership across divisions to understand data requirements and recommend appropriate ML/Business intelligence solutions
• Work closely with Data Engineering teams to define and structure data elements that enhance analytical capabilities
• Partner with data engineering, machine learning, and software development teams to optimize data capture and storageTechnical Leadership and Innovation• Design and implement user-friendly data visualization platforms enabling business teams to access and analyze large datasets
• Develop and maintain performance metrics, reports, dashboards, and analytics that drive key business decisions
• Establish standardized data reporting protocols across all customer groups
• Champion best practices in reporting and analysis, ensuring data integrity, robust testing, and thorough documentation• Create and implement new metrics and studies to analyze customer behavior and improve performance
• Deliver clear written and verbal presentations of insights and recommendations to diverse audiences with varying technical backgrounds
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams

- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience
- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software

- 8+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience
- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience
- Experience leading and influencing the BI strategy of your team or organization
