Key requirements for this role are good communication skills with a collaborative working and positive, can-do attitude. The ability to work as part of a project team will be essential and form part of your day-to-day work ethic. You will need to be able to work independently and take responsibility for decision-making and influence the delivery of your team.
- Expertise in building performance and passive design analysis, including, thermal comfort and façade optimisation
- Experience in operational energy assessment and optimisation, energy Performance Certification, BRUKL compliance modelling and SAP assessment
- Ability to undertake renewable and low zero carbon energy strategy assessments as well as early stage and whole building Life Cycle Assessment
- An understanding of BREEAM and other environmental assessment methodologies
- Experience in Dynamic Thermal Modelling (ideally using IES software)
- Ideally knowledge of HVAC systems modelling using Apache HVAC or similar.
- Excellent visual communication skills to enable effective sharing
- Proficient in computational environmental analysis using ladybug tools / climate studio / pollination
- Preferably some coding (python, c sharp) skills
