BE/BTech/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
10+ years of industry experience building and shipping software using modern programming languages such as C#, C++, Java, Go or Python.
Track record of delivering significant engineering projects across multiple ship cycles.
At least 4 years of experience in people management.
Demonstrated history of leading successful engineering teams that work well together.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Customer obsession and passion for shipping high quality products.
Excellent planning, execution, and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience working in a Linux environment and/or with open source projects
Experience building and shipping a large-scale cloud service is a big plus
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure, AWS or GCP
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps tools and processes
Experience working with geo-distributed engineering teams and XFN partners
Experience in site-reliability engineering practices and supporting scalable live site services
Experience growing and mentoring senior engineers
