Description
As an engineer on our team you will have responsibilities for the design, development, and testing of watchOS software. These include: - Writing high-quality, well-tested and performant code to enable new features in our apps. - Architecting systems that are extensible, adaptable and stand the test of time. - Working with designers to turn ideas into meaningful prototypes and demoing them to stakeholders. - Optimizing cutting-edge features to run on a power-constrained device.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Excellent Objective-C or Swift coding ability.
  • Consistent record of completing projects on time, with high quality, to specification.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Deep commitment to product quality and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with a cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Systems knowledge and hands-on experience with inter-process communication.
  • Familiarity with SwiftUI and Swift Standard Library design patterns.
  • Extensive knowledge of performance tuning and profiling throughout the stack.
  • Experience influencing and implementing polished and highly functional UI/UX.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
