Job responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or AWS certification on Software Development concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experienced in building green field applications in React based Micro Frontend Framework and Java Springboot Microservices
• Working knowledge of Kafka and good understanding of Event Driven Architecture Patterns
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration - automating software deployment, scaling, and management
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Candidate should be able to demonstrate hands on experience in building and managing applications on AWS
• Candidate will be playing a critical role in building the technology roadmap and driving the execution
• Full Stack Architect who enjoys technically leading a team of software engineers (75% Designing & Leading / 25% Coding)

• 10 years of experience in deploying and managing applications on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
• Experienced in different Deployment Models and Strategies to rollout version upgrades to applications deployed on AWS
• Proficient technical skills are preferred in Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana
• Experienced in Observability and Monitoring Tools
