The Financial Solutions Group Manager is responsible for the execution, governance and program oversight of the Treasury Controllers Book of Work and works closely with stakeholders to define, drive, and execute end-to-end change in process, controls, data, and technology required to support automation and transformation. This entails overseeing and executing on multiple projects related to Consent Order deliverables, Regulatory Initiatives, Matters Requiring Attention (MRA’s) and Strategic Business Initiatives for Treasury Controllers.
The core responsibility of the Financial Solutions Group Manager is to work with different stakeholders, SMEs and ensure that the Treasury Controllers Business requirements are understood across multiple projects, documented in the BRD, drive the implementation of system and business process changes as well as installation of technical (system) and/or operational (procedural) change. The role requires leadership and strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into simple presentations.
The Financial Solutions Group Manager therefore has a critical part to play in ensuring best business practice for Program Management and will require good knowledge of the PM framework and how it is being applied to large scale multiyear programs.
Responsibilities:
- Program Manage execution of Citi's Regulatory/Consent Order Programs and other key Initiatives.
- Run program of projects including planning, governance, progress tracking and execution. Manage multiple streams of work to ensure timely delivery of key milestones, and tracking.
- Manages the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed when necessary.
- Interface with internal audit on project reviews and ensure timely resolution of identified issue.
- Manages the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, to escalate and resolve on a timely basis, and also obtain buy-in for new business process and technology changes.
- Participate and manage the authoring of Project plans, Charters, BRDs & Test Plans, and overall project execution as required.
- Working closely with different stakeholders to understand and document business requirements. Present the project overview, status, and issues internally or at a senior level.
- Chairing bi-weekly working group meetings with stakeholders across CTI trading desks, Finance, Controllers, Technology, PMO, Risk & Operations.
- Clear summarizing of key discussion points and action items upon meeting closure
- Develop and deliver presentations covering project / program status, resourcing, and plans to all stakeholders.
- Oversee budget and resourcing tracking and requests.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple programs simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
- Strong communicator, written and oral across all levels of the organization, with ability to deliver succinct messages to senior sponsors across the firm.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry highly preferred
- Requires a comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the goals of the function.
- Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly preferred.
Education:
- Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
