Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer needs, develop solutions for them and integrate these into the product roadmap for delivery
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product commercialization, implementation, and servicing
- Provides expert guidance and support to the Implementations, Sales, and Client Service teams
- Maintains advanced knowledge of SWIFT MT and MX payment and statement formats
- Ensures compliance with banking regulations, with a particular focus on FDIC regulations, including FDIC Part 370
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in project / program management
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Thorough understanding of the processes by which corporations conduct their banking and payment transactions
- Proven ability to document and verbally communicate concepts and ideas and product details in appropriate formats for compliance, controls, legal and technology partners
- Extensive experience in banking and payments, with a strong understanding of SWIFT MT and MX formats
- In-depth knowledge of FDIC banking regulations, including FDIC Part 370
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Understanding and experience with file transmission technology
- Understanding of FDIC Part 370 specifically
- Ability to independently lead cross-functional groups
