As an Inside Sales Team Leader you will lead an inside sales team of Inside Sales Specialists to implement sales strategies and ensure that excellent relationship with external customers is maintained. In this role, you will also be responsible for setting goals and compiling reports on targeted activity. You will also be responsible for building out strategy and process around new inside sales programs.
Essential Responsibilities- Leading, managing and motivating an inside sales team to implement a sales strategy and meet agreed targets
- Provide clear vision and mission to inside sales team to ensure all members of the organization have clear objectives and priorities
- Work with Digital Marketing and Communication team to develop targeted inside sales campaigns and work with partner function teams to set up new campaigns and/or new partnerships
- Set quantifiable and measurable metrics at the individual sales person level for performance management and incentive compensation purposes
- Forecasting of individual, campaign and team performance against targeted goal(s) weekly, quarterly and annually
- Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
- Provide excellent customer service with a customer-focused approach
- Coach and mentor direct reports daily, and hold team accountable for meeting objectives
- Hire talented Inside Sales personnel by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating a large pool of candidates for core attributes and values essential for the inside sales team role
- Build and perfect the playbooks that govern our daily and weekly cadence of sales activity informed by approved best practices
- Ability to manage and communicate strategy to all levels of organization including senior level management
- Develop high number of SFDC reports and dashboards for team members, partners, management
- Support the Marketing/Commercial analyst (who is a member of the team) with advices & training
- Create Campaigns in SFDC
Qualifications / Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of previous sales experience
- 2 + years of inside sales leadership experience
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication – both with internal and external customers
- Ability to work in a team or individually if required
- Proficient end-user IT skills including SFDC, MS Office and Outlook
