Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support users with system problems.
  • Responsible for helping DevOps set up systems.
  • Monitors the support queue and assigns tickets.
  • Monitors that the system is operating correctly.
  • Responsible for change management execution.
  • Responsible for stepping in if the system is not operating normally.
  • Supports software developers in improving the operational environment.
  • Help fix production issues and support the operations.
  • Operates in compliance with security policy and security rules.
Requirements
  • Relevant IT degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with system setup and configuration (supporting DevOps).
  • Ability to fix production issues and support operations.
  • Familiarity with change management processes.
  • Experience with user support, ticket management, and queue monitoring.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Icelandic
