As a Principal Innovation Hub Solution Engineer, Cloud and AINew York City, NY,you will merge business and technical requirements to craft comprehensive solutions, working seamlessly with various stakeholders. You will conduct discovery sessions to understand customer needs and provide strategic recommendations and best practices tailored to their specific needs.Implementing robust AI transformation solutionsthe integration of various technologies and services will be key aspects of your role.

Additionally, you willconsultancy skills to foster collaboration among technical resources and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective teamwork.

This role is Microsoft onsite only.

Required/minimum qualifications:

• 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience AND Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR 7+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect (or a comparable role), with hands-on expertise in custom agentic AI development and modern, cloud-based application development as outlined below:
  • Development - build custom AI Solutions with AI Foundry for pro code custom agents using Python, JavaScript, Typescript, C#, HTML5, SQL, and Copilot Studio for building low-code solutions.
  • Architecture - architect modern, cloud-based applications using containers, microservices, API services, and more.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AI Solution Design Experience:Expertisein designing architectures and hands-on experience building and deploying AI. Experience with Copilot Studio,AI Foundry,Large Language Models, prompt engineering, agentic architecture, responsible AIpracticesand familiarity with emerging industry standards such as MCP and A2A. Understanding of AI-related Azure servicessuch as Cognitive Services and more.

• Certification in relevant technologies or disciplines

Experience with SDLCleveraging Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, or similar tools.Architectural experienceofguiding enterprise customers ondeveloping modern applications with AI technologies.Adept at solution design, development, integration, governance, compliance,and security, this role drives operational excellence and responsible AI transformation through scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.

• Enterprise Architect Experience:Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, designing and implementing large-scale, complex solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements. Ability to integrate various technologies and platforms to create cohesive and scalable architectures. Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, adjacent technologies, architecture designs, migrations, and industry standards.

• Strategic & Structured Facilitator:Validated customer experience in requirements capture; prioritization; capturing evidence and impact to quantify business value; issue,riskand constraint identification with a focus on strategic goals and outcomes. Use of consultative selling skills to navigate complex technical landscapes,establishtrust and deliver tailored solutions that meet specific customer needs.

Solution Engineering IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.Microsoft will accept applications for the role until October 15, 2025.
