Unity Senior Software Engineer

You will be working alongside senior software engineers, as well as the product and design team.

What you'll be doing

• Participate in all phases of software development from design/architecture through implementation, testing, and maintenance. Building features that facilitates the development and operation of Commerce Platform storefront UI and API end-points.
• Support teammates in code quality, operational excellence, and shared learning
• Participate actively in customer support by directly engaging with internal teams and assisting them in resolving any challenges or questions they may have
• Collaborate with our product manager, stakeholders, and customers to understand friction points, proposed solutions, and encourage the adoption of our tooling
• Participate proactively in refinement and strategy sessions with the team, promoting collaboration and mutual assistance

What we're looking for

• Comfortable with modern front-end technologies such as Next.js, React, and/or back-end technologies such as Go.
• Strong ability to design, develop and maintain high-quality front end architecture and/or API gateway solutions.
• Solid communication skills and experience working closely with other teams and stakeholders
• High standards for code quality, testing and performance
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD best practices

You might also have

• Experience with service oriented architecture, leveraging Kubernetes on a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure). Our team uses Google Cloud Platform & Vercel
• Linux and Containerization: Experience working in a Linux environment and using containers (Docker).
• Experience building platform solutions for internal development teams
