In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating program coordination for the AMER Central Commissioning team. You will be involved in the full life cycle of construction/commissioning projects within your assigned region, including activity from the start of the construction project through project execution and close out. You will work with highly-motivated experts from Engineering, Design, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and Legal to complete key deliverables required to build AWS data centers. You will coordinate with AMER CxC’s from other regions to maintain consistency across the program.You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - Managing and tracking Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
- Facilitating Work Order (WO) and Change Order (CO) requests
- Submitting Purchase Requests (PRs), as needed
- Track Purchase Order (PO) status
- Deep dive invoicing issues
- Maintaining and tracking the status of contracts, budgets, and spend
- Implementing and maintaining reports and dashboards- Writing and maintaining internal and external training material and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

- Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Cost Controls, Accounting, or applicable degree; experience can be substituted for degree
- 2+ years construction contract management and/or construction-related accounting and/or vendor management
- 2+ years as a Windows and Microsoft Office Suite power user, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel and experience managing large datasets
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Experience working in Procore
- Solid organizational skills, including prioritization, and time management
- Experience creating or improving large impact processes and/or procedures
- Demonstrated ability to interpret contract terms, conditions, and exhibits as applicable to project requirements
