As a Technical Project Manager II - Government Services, you will be responsible for:

• Partnering with customers to understand their technical and business needs, to ensure customer success
• Working closely with Akamai and customer teams to design the best solutions and implementation plans
• Collaborating with Professional Service team members to implement and execute best practice solutions for our customers
• Facilitating the testing and live deployment of solutions, ensuring smooth and timely integrations for customers
• Participating on internal projects to contribute to best practices, improving our methodology and quality of integrations

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have U.S. CITIZENSHIP due to legal requirements of our customer base
• Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry
• Have an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Demonstrate some understanding of network technologies, web development languages, methodologies, or architectures
• Show some experience delivering customer projects successfully
• Be a natural communicator with an ability to build trusting relationships and ensuring customer success
