As a
Field Service Engineer I
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide technical expertise and facilitate field service operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs
- Conduct training sessions for field service technicians and customers
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Due to the nature of this discipline, maybe required to work off-hours, on weekends, and/or holidays, on occasion
- Company vehicle will be provided to travel to company sites
- Travel: 75%+ US
The salary range for this position is $69,000.00 - $86,500.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6+ months of professional experience in a related field (field service, technical operations, industrial maintenance, process automation, heavy manufacturing, prior military experience, development and/or reliability engineering, etc.)
- Must Successfully Complete 18-month Honeywell Training & Certification Program. Note: Training/Testing is via online
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
- Strong written and verbal communication skills must be able to clearly articulate messages both technical and non-technical
- Self-motivation and willingness to work in demanding environments with little or no supervision and take initiative to be proactive
WE VALUE
- Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math
- Experience with distributed control systems or PLC
- Software configuration, migration experience, project engineering experience, virtualization, Cyber process control, electrical, or other application experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Self-reliance and the ability to learn independently
