What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop and document Document Control work instructions, work flows and procedures.
  • Manage Document Control operations and the team of Document Controllers, both in-office and on-site.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client queries related to Document Control, delegating tasks as needed.
  • Resolve discrepancies and system issues, ensuring timely problem resolution.
  • Collaborate daily with the Projects team and Document Controller team.
  • Liaise with clients and external vendors to support documentation needs.
  • Review and update technical documents, including manuals and workflows, with team input.
  • Establish and maintain document workflows and approval processes.
  • Conduct training and communicate documentation requirements to internal teams.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc project reports while seeking improvements in document management efficiency.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Good people management skills & some relevant experience
  • Ability to converse clearly & concisely with Senior Project Manager & the team
  • Learn & self-manage online document platforms
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to organise own workload and use initiative and also to lead and support the Document Control team.
  • Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives.
  • High level of organisation. Efficient with thorough methods of working.
  • Have UK driving license to travel between sites and attending some client meetings may also be required.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
