• Daily reconciliation of general ledger balances to the sub-ledger
• Preparation of reconciliation package
• Identify and clear accounting exceptions and mismatched items
• Analyze reoccurring issues and assist in developing process improvements
• Monitoring status of aged breaks on balance sheet accounts
• Exercise sound judgement regarding the proper application of accounting principles to reconciliations
• Effectively communicate with team members, management and business partners
• Respond to Balance Sheet Substantiation team requests for information
• Ensure financial reporting deadlines are met
• Participate in and/or lead projects as assigned
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

• 2-5 years relevant experience in accounting (experience in the financial services sector a plus)
• Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and other comprehensive basis of accounting
• Excellent quantitative skills
• CPA or commensurate local accreditation

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Responsabilidades:

• Preparación de reportes regulatorios operativos
• Envío en tiempo y forma de reportes regulatorios a los reguladores
• Resolución de discrepancias ante el regulador y participación para revisiones internas como auditorias.
• Documentar procesos y mantener los procedimientos internos con base a las políticas de Banamex.

• Experiencia relevante de 2 a 5 años de preferencia en el sector de servicios financieros.
• Excelentes habilidades cuantitativas.
• Conocimientos generales enproductos de derivados yReportes Regulatorios hacia Banco de México y la Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores.
•De preferencia,experiencia en reportes regulatorios de Derivados (OFF, OPTO, Swaps y el Reporte de Transferencias Internacionales (TFI))y formulario liquidez intradía.
• Manejo y conocimiento de la plataforma para envio de reportes regulatorios (SAIF y) a Banco de Méxicoy la CNVB.
• Conocimientos generales en el proceso deConvalidacion de la Tenencia semanal y mensual.
• Experiencia en el proceso de resolución de discrepancias con las contrapartes y la autoridad.
• Buen manejo de paquetería OFFICE

Educación:

• Licenciatura/título universitario o experiencia equivalente.
