As a deeply technical seller, you’ll increase your partners’ technical capabilities by enabling their sales and technical sellers to experientially demonstrate IBM Technology at scale with your clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities


The Responsibility:
Collaborative Partner Strategy Development: Co-creating partner strategies that pinpoint growth areas, revenue objectives, milestones for success, including required skills enhancement and partner enablement for entering the market.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Previous experience in a Technical Sales/Solution Consultant/Sales Engineer role
  • Experience working with the sales lifecycle and driving customer outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills at all levels of an organization.
  • Driven and initiative-taking with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence in everything they do.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive business relationships with peers and clients.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Data and AI technologies which should include Analytics & Advance Analytics solutions like Datalake, Data Warehouse, Business Analytics, Planning Budgeting, AI, GenAI & Datafabric.
  • Fluent English


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with IBM Data Science and Governance solutions (DataStage, InfoSphere, Data Replication, Watson Knowledge Catalog, MDM, Cloud Pak for Data, etc.).
  • Experience with IBM Hybrid Data Management solutions (IBM DB2 Family, Cloudera, Netezza Performance Server, etc.).
  • Competitive product experience a plus (Microsoft, Snowflake, AWS, and Oracle)
  • Experience in SaaS / Cloud technologies
