Based out of the Denver, Colorado area, you’ll work with scientists, engineers, system operators, subject matter experts, and project managers on exciting projects in which you will learn from others and pass along your knowledge. Responsibilities may include designing, permitting, optimizing and troubleshooting an array of groundwater treatment systems that address a wide variety of contaminants. Responsibilities may also include overseeing soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water investigations, building teams of colleagues and subcontractors, coordinating and managing fieldwork logistics, data analysis and interpretation, technical report writing, and participating in meetings with clients and regulators. Safety will be your priority, as you contribute to operational excellence and maintain the highest standards of Health, Safety and Environmental Compliance in everything you do.
This is a Hybrid position where you’ll be afforded the flexibility to work from both the office as well as from home as best suited to meet project delivery goals while maintaining balance.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Professional experience with delivering remediation projects, including fieldwork methodology/procedures and assessment/evaluation of data for various environmental media.
• 8+ years professional experience with engineering, installing, optimizing, and maintaining groundwater remediation treatment systems, including systems with air strippers, co-precipitation, chemical additions, filtration, etc
• Experience working on remediation project sites and overseeing subcontractors.
• Experience leading teams toward a common goal.
• 40-hr HAZWOPER certification or the ability to attain this certification.
• Ability to travel up to 25-40% time may be required and travel is not limited to the Denver, CO vicinity.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
• Professional registration (e.g., Professional Engineer) or the intent to obtain and maintain professional certification.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with coworkers, contractors, and clients.
• Strong attention to detail when designing, implementing and evaluating environmental systems and associated data.
