What You’ll Do
- Transformation Roadmap Development: Partner with Finance leadership to define, prioritize, and champion the strategic roadmap for Finance transformation, focusing on FP&A and workforce planning.
- Opportunity identification & Solution Design: Lead the identification of improvement opportunities (via assessments, gap/root cause analysis) and design scalable, end-to-end solutions, defining optimized processes and system requirements.
- Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale, cross-functional Finance transformation projects, ensuring delivery on time, scope, and budget.
- Project Management & Execution: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Continuously evaluate and integrate relevant industry best practices and fintech innovations to drive ongoing improvement within the Finance function.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with senior leadership, cross-functional business partners, and technology teams to ensure alignment and gain consensus.
- Change Management & Adoption: Develop and execute robust change management strategies, fostering adoption of new processes/technologies and clearly communicating the vision, objectives, and benefits.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting: Define, track, and report on KPIs/OKRs to measure transformation success. Develop and oversee project business cases, monitoring post-implementation impact.
- Policy & Control Refinement: Develop or refine operational policies, procedures, and control mechanisms to ensure compliance and sustainability following transformational changes.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance Transformation, Consulting, Corporate Finance, or related roles.
- Experience in process and digital transformation driven initiatives.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in transformation.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to quickly understand complex issues, absorb information, conceptualize and problem-solve.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner to different levels of management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of FP&A processes with proven experience.
- Knowledge and experience in workforce/headcount planning processes.
- Knowledge of Oracle Finance systems (incl. Oracle EPM).
- Experience working in a high-growth organization
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Change management expertise, with the ability to drive organizational change and overcome resistance.
For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year - USD$145,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$146,000 per year - USD$162,000 per year.
