Job Title:Release Train Engineer

The Role

Release Trainplays a meaningful role in delivering high-quality modern solutions software as part ofthe Agile Release Trainscrum ceremonies. This role will also act as a change agent, evangelizing the tents of agile and scrum across Global Functions Technology.

Responsibilities

• Portfoliosto transform their behaviors toward an agileenvironment

• Lead and execute release and PI (Product Increment) planningenabling outcomes toexecutethe product vision

• FacilitateSAFeprocessesand eventsforthe ART (Agile Release Train)enabling teamand ARTmaturity

• Facilitate program level agile ceremonies to include dependency mapping, release planning and scope alignment across Product teams

• Coordinate major feature releases and ongoing value delivery to customers

• Ensure risk and compliance goals are met through enablement of high code quality, robustbacklogsand reduction of technical debt

• Enable the removal ofor escalateimpediments to the Scrum Teamsor ARTprogress

• Leverage performance data to drive outcomes and continuous improvementfor the ART

• Enable empirical product planning for a complex environment

• Facilitate communication and partnership inside and outside theARTto include stakeholder engagement

• Coach to enablean agile mindset with focus on agile value and principles leading with transparency, inspection, and adaptation resulting in delivery of high value increments which meet the Definition of Done

Qualifications

• Mindset consistent with Scrum core values: openness, courage, respect, focus and commitment

• Demonstrated understanding of lean agile values and principles including the 3-5-3 structure of scrum

• 5+ years working in an agile environment as a development team member, Scrum Master, RTEor Product Owner

• 5+ years' experience in the Scrum Master or Agile Coach role of distributed Agile team, tech domain preferred

• Expertin facilitation, problem solving and influencing outcomes

• Expert knowledge of best practices in valuedriven development (requirements management, prototyping, hypothesisdrivendevelopment, usability testing).

• Strongknowledge of technical engineering best practices including test driven development, continuous integration, DevOps.

• Demonstrated knowledge of common practices to manage risk from risk identification through mitigation and monitoring

• Expert knowledge ofagile tool suites including Atlassian, Agility Health Radar, MSTeamsor similar agile management tooling

• SAFeRTE,Scrum Master and Agile Certifications

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with large-scale enterprise agile transformationswith knowledge ofmultipleagile and scaling

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
