Job Role and Responsibility:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Specialty Software Engineer for a role in the Spread Technology group. Spread technology supports the ABF, Credit and Muni Sales & Trading businesses within Capital Markets. Lead or participate in complex initiatives on selected domains. Assure quality, security and compliance for supported systems and applications. Serve as a technical resource in finding software solutions. Review and evaluate user needs and determine requirements. Provide technical support, advice, and consultation with the issues relating to supported applications. Create test data and conduct interfaces and unit tests. Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Understand and participate to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives. Conduct research and resolve problems in relation to processes and recommend solutions and process improvements. Assist other individuals in advanced software development. Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals. Remote / telecommute work available, up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

Required Qualifications:

Position requires ain Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field andof experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience.

Specific skills required:

• Experience with Java and SQL
• Experience with SDLC cycle, .NET, or Python
• Experience with RDMS, MS SQL, or NoSQL
• Experience with Coherence, Redis, or Ignite
• Experience with Solace, JMS, or Kafka
• Experience with Capital Markets including RMBS trading, CMO issuance, and Risk Management

Salary: $191,000 - $305,000
