Lead Data Scientist

You’ll play a critical role in shaping how data science informs Treasury operations and liquidity management. This role requires conducing in-depth analysis of product portfolios, identifying gaps, and providing insights on complementary products or services to customers to enhance Treasury-related business relationships.

In this role you will:

• Lead the design and implementation of complex initiatives and deliverables by utilizing data driven solutions, advanced analytics models, statistical technique and algorithms.

• Partner and consult with business leaders to understand strategic goals and translate them into data science initiatives.

• Develop and maintain robust models using time series analysis, regression, and machine learning techniques.

• Ensure data quality, model accuracy, and reproducibility through rigorous validation and documentation.

• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure scalable and secure deployment of analytics solutions.

• Enforce and establish best practices related to data quality and governance.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 5+ years of hands-on programming using SQL

• 5+ years of Python experience

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership or mentorship role

• Master's degree level or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, Business Analytics, or computer science

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of banking products and services, including Treasury/Transaction Services

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

• Exposure to MLOps practices and model deployment pipelines.

Job Expectations:

• This role will be required to work on-site . Candidates outside of commuting distance must be willing to relocate.
