As a Proposal Manager within the Global Proposal Team in the NAMR region, you will support Merchant Services, Treasury Services, Trade & Working Capital, and Commercial Card sales activity by generating customized, compelling and persuasive sales proposals in response to RFP/RFI or proactive requests from prospective and existing clients. You will be responsible for the lifecycle of each proposal document, from creation, through development to final version.
Job description:
- Manage and control the RFP process end-to-end. Partner with sales managers, subject matter experts, senior management/stakeholders as well as other proposal team members where applicable, to collaborate in the writing and customization and delivery of our sales proposals.
- Develop an understanding of the proposed solution to complete projects and customize responses.
- Populate the initial and subsequent drafts using our global repository and ensure responsiveness to all the client's/prospect's stated requirements/questions.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage the proposal project matrix outlining all deliverables and milestones, seek and coordinate timely input from relevant subject matter experts, and escalate any issues to the regional manager.
- Conduct regular review meetings to ensure adherence to action items and target dates by all members of the deal team.
- Ensure that proposals submitted are of a high quality, correctly reflect J.P. Morgan products and services, incorporating all information into a professional and competitive proposal adhering to Global Proposal team brand and style guide.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and the knowledge manager to update the global repository as responses are created, developed, and enhanced.
- Participate and lead internal initiatives to promote best practices and process improvement.
- Attend meetings and appropriate bank training as required to continue development and to enhance knowledge of cash management, trade, and merchant services products globally.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelors’ degree graduate - Accounting, Finance, Management, or Business
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Financial Industry
- Experience in product knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking services
- Experience in project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and customization
- Excellent English writing skills
- Excellent desktop publishing skills, including a strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and other MS-Office applications.
