Roles and Responsibilities

• Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of class-A 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection -typically does not require Engineering degree add non-Engineers language here

• Collaborate closely with Industrial Designers around the world to execute on their visions for product designs.

• Brainstorm and collaborate with engineering & industrial design teams to refine parting lines, part splits, and overall assembly of parts to create a cohesive and high quality product in 3D CAD.

• Broadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy. May include support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.

• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.

• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and will require working with global teams in different time zones.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 3 years of experience in parametric 3D modeling for plastic part design.
