You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.Key job functions:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical challenges.
- Fix issues and develop tools and automations to improve operational excellence.
- Update and track progress on technical challenges.
- Enhance the readiness of systems and processes within the Data Center.
Key job responsibilities
- Providing root cause support for incoming tickets, involving extensive troubleshooting tasks across multiple products, features, and services.
- Assisting with software deployment, scripting support, and automation.
- Developing tools to facilitate operations and maintenance and data analytics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
- Experience scripting in modern program languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
- Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
- Experience troubleshooting & maintaining hardware & software RAID
- Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON
