As our Senior Consultant you’ll make a technical contribution to engagements and projects. You’ll provide advice to clients on the reward and remuneration strategy, policy and processes, commercial and strategic implications of remuneration systems and processes, director fees, executive remuneration, cash and non-cash reward issues.
Ko Tō Rourou | Your key responsibilities
- Client Engagement & Advisory: Participate in Reward engagements by helping clients design and implement remuneration strategies aligned with business and HR goals. This includes consulting on frameworks, benchmarking, incentives, and executive/director pay.
- Collaboration & Contribution: Work effectively as a team member by sharing responsibilities, supporting colleagues, and keeping senior team members informed. Contribute to client projects alongside EY Managers, Partners, HR teams, Executives, and Boards.
- Skill Development & Market Insight: Build your skills in a supportive environment while broadening your understanding of national and international market practices. Use market data to inform decisions and develop financial models for incentive plans.
Pūkenga | Skills and attributes for success
- Education & Experience: Hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or Finance with strong academic credentials. Have at least 12 months of relevant post-graduation experience, ideally within a large organization or consulting/professional services environment.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, including financial modelling knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft systems—especially Excel. Experience in people and remuneration consulting projects is a plus.
- Work Ethic & Attention to Detail: Excel in time management and thrive in fast-paced environments. Maintain a high level of focus and productivity, with strong attention to detail.
