Intel Dalian Memory Technology and Manufacturing (DMTM) is high-volume manufacturing memory fab in Intel China working on leading edge 3D NAND product. Intel and SK Hynix have an agreement for SK Hynix to acquire Intel's NAND memory and storage business. and Intel will continue to manufacture NAND wafers at the Dalian memory manufacturing until the final closing expected to occur in March 2025. Intel DMTM will continue to build on the success of our NAND technology at a greater scale, play a larger role in supporting our customers.
This Finance position candidate is responsible for:
• Monitor and review tax returns to ensure that legal entities meet filing obligations on timely & accurate basis
• Keep up to date on changes in China law, administrative and other regulations related to tax
• Understand and analyze as-is tax operational process, identify automation opportunities and requirements, and perform automation and efficiency project
• Use data and technology effectively to perform compliance work, forecast and tax risk assessment from both technical and operational perspectives
• Work closely with Global Tax team, as well as other business partners and stakeholders and assist in providing tax opinions for daily operation and regulatory advisory service
• Coordinate and support external and internal audits
Qualification
• University degree in Tax, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Tax, finance or related fields; in tax function of either big 4 or other companies is preferred
• Solid knowledge of PRC tax laws and regulations, US GAAP and CAS on tax treatments
• Excellent data analytical skills & ability to develop analytics and technology solutions
• Any prior knowledge of RPA tools, BPM, automation or process efficiency project is an added advantage
• Strong communication skills; Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Good project management skills, ability to function in a complex organization and maintain focus whist managing those complexities with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent team player, willing to learn and share
