Your responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of high-performing Business Analysts and Pricing & Contracting Analysts responsible for financial modeling/analytics, development and coordination of Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses, and management of complex sales contracts.
- Developing and communicating the strategic, financial, and administrative implications of proposed and/or implemented pricing policy.
- Partnering with Sales Management to make price recommendations, ensure compliance with policy, and provide input on final pricing contracts and their structure.
- Assisting in the development of pricing strategies for current and future products across all relevant customer and market segments.
- Tracking and reporting on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including contract status, pricing metrics, revenue and profitability, contract compliance, and contract performance metrics.
- Conducting proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities that allow for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Identifying and implementing best practices, processes, and tools to ensure effective workflow throughout the contract lifecycle and consistent processes that maximize sales execution, quality, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Managing and mentoring a team of pricing and contract analysts, ensuring continuous development and improvement in pricing practices and contract management.
- Fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, encouraging innovation and strategic thinking.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing, contract management, sales operations, or a related field, with proven success in developing and executing pricing strategies.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, and a solution-oriented mentality.
- Highly detail-oriented with superior organizational skills.
- Understanding of financial modeling, market analysis, and pricing frameworks.
- Experience working through the RFP process.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Healthcare and/or medical device industry experience.
- People leadership experience, providing leadership, development, and coaching to a high-performing team.
- Exposure to Model N or other Contracting/Revenue Management systems.
- Proficiency in pricing software, contract management tools, and data analytics platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, or Tableau.
