What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Development of real-time embedded software that implements and controls safety critical software
- Implement state machines, control logic, alerts, and diagnostics
- Involved in the full life cycle of firmware development from concept through integration, test, and release to our growing fleet of vehicles
- Virtual algorithm development and regression testing in simulation
- Code review, establish best practices and mentor junior engineers and interns
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in real-time embedded software development
- Experience in developing safety-critical or mission-critical firmware
- Proficiency in C
- Fluent in software fundamentals, including software design and maintainability
- Experience with designing/developing/analyzing/maintaining state machines
- Familiarity with MISRA C preferred
- Experience with unit testing and static analysis tools preferred
- Knowledge of version control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins) preferred
- Familiarity with Hazard and Risk Assessment (HARA) and/or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) preferred
