Establish strong client relationships in key accounts to help progress the Security Services portfolio
Working with global and local teams, help organize project approaches and teams for client delivery
Participate in project delivery, to varying degrees depending on project complexity and geography needs
Direct and approve the design of security systems;
Drive strategic initiative with client on security systems;
Review and approve security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning;
Approve identity and access policies and drive security initiatives with all the business lines, review and drive organization risk management;
Review investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities;
Maintain a current understanding the IT threat landscape for the industry;
Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations;
Translate that knowledge to identification of risks and actionable plans to protect the business;
Schedule periodic security audits;
Lead delivery of captive SOC / Security Command Center & Security Tools like IPS, Anti-Malware, AV, Anti-APT, VA Tools, etc
Oversee identity and access management with regards to privilege access;
Make sure that cyber security policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel and that compliance is enforced;
Manage all teams, employees, contractors and vendors involved in IT security, which may include hiring;
Provide training and mentoring to security team members;
Constantly update the cyber security strategy to leverage new technology and threat information;
Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested;
Brief the executive team on status and risks, including taking the role of champion for the overall strategy and necessary budget; and
Communicate best practices and risks to all parts of the business, outside IT.
Provide global practice leadership by facilitating a community of likeminded practitioners to share and exchange ideas for practice growth and improvement
Contribute content and advice to the offering development process
Help shape the emerging model of the global Security practice
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Overall experience of at least 14+ years in Information Technology Security
At least 10 years’ experience in management consulting and systems integration in a top tier professional services firm
Experience in working international deployment roles
At least 7 years’ experience working in projects related to the core domain
Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions
Experience working with Security practitioners
Working knowledge of industry standard risk, governance and security standard methodologies
Competence with Microsoft Office, e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.
Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal direction and maximum accountability.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
One or more security certifications: CEH, Security+, GSEC, GCIH, etc.,
