Manufacturing Engineers work with cross-functional teams throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with Design Engineering, NPI (New Product Introduction), Quality and Production to take design in initial concept through prototype development and into full production
Develop manufacturing technology from concept to production, providing manufacturing insights during product definition to streamline design for manufacturing
Create process sequences, establish critical process parameters and recipes, and formulate assembly sequences to define critical quality parameters for efficient production
Lead the in-house development of novel, complex, innovative, and intricate prototype manufacturing equipment for both low and high-volume lines
Manage internal and external equipment suppliers to design, install and commission production lines, ensuring successful integration on time
Work closely with the production team to ramp up the line, addressing any technical issues, and optimizing processes until the line runs at the desired rate
Calculate equipment capacity and line balancing to ensure optimal production efficiency
Document engineering testing reports and maintain records of equipment performance, process improvements, and troubleshooting outcomes
