Job summary:

As an Associate in our Rates Sales you will be responsible for pro-actively covering your own clients as well as backing up key accounts on the desk, executing all fixed income products for the aforementioned client bases.Your focus will be on the Bank Treasury and SSA client base but you will be expected to back-up for some Insurance/PF accounts.

Job responsibilities:

• Work with our partners in trading
• Syndicate and research to provide comprehensive client coverage including fulfilling client requests for market updates
• Assist with the execution of client trades and provide clients with market intelligence
• Conduct trade execution process including pitching trade ideas, new issue order taking and general sales across the desk

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• You demonstrate prior experience in fixed income sales for Bank Treasuries is a prerequisite (those with experience on the client-side in a PM role will also be considered)
• You demonstrate eagerness and motivation to perform and gain responsibility and ownership
• You have proactive character and intrinsic motivation to become and remain a market leader
