Key job responsibilities- Work with all other global Amazon business teams to understand their integration requirements and collaborate to build solutions for automation.
- Work with vendor managers and drive EDI/API adoption initiatives for vendors.
- Propose and drive initiatives to improve integration technologies and processes.- Manage integration projects and communicate directly with internal and external company resources. Continuously improve our integration processes and data quality. Drive and build creative solutions for challenging customer integration requirement.
- Deliver timely, accurate and professional technical support and information internally and externally; including real-time support, communication, escalation, reporting, defect tracking and root cause analysis of outage events.

- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 6+ years of experience designing & implementing API/EDI integration solutions to solve business problems. Experience understanding customers/business requirements and building integration solutions.
- In depth understanding of integration system's architecture, security for external and internal communication.
- Experience working with REST APIs, ANSI X12 standards, especially V4010 and above, including Order and Financial series documents such as 850, 855, 856, 810 and others.
- Experience working with XML, JSON and other message formats.
- Experience with EDI communications standards and protocols; AS2, standard VAN-based EDI, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, and Web services.
- Experience writing functional design documents, create/maintain EDI maps and specifications, troubleshooting complex EDI failures, working with external EDI partners, and testing interconnected systems.
- Demonstrated experience with writing functional/technical design documents, troubleshooting complex EDI/API failures

- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- Experience of designing fault-tolerant solutions
- Middleware business process workflow design and development experience
- Application development experience in Java or any other programming language.
