Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of low earth orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband internet connectivity to un-served and under-served communities around the world. In this role as an SDE, you will be part of the core technical team building the network infrastructure for satellite to ground based connectivity.Key job responsibilities
The primary responsibility you will have in this role are:
* You will collaborate with engineers across the org to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate across solution pipelines.
* You will work on initiatives building networking functions on AWS infrastructure and help implement best practices for software development.
* You will develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring health of systems and data pipelines.
* You will help engineer and build solutions which are required for managing the ground gateway stations.Export Control Requirement:A day in the life

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
