Ring is hiring a Software Engineer II to work on Ring's critical Gateways Service.Key job responsibilities
As a Software Development Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and deliver high-performing and stable socket connectivity service. In this role, you will:- Design, develop and enhance Ring Gateways Services- Help maintain code quality, organization and automation

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
