Your role:
  • Drive strategic and tactical sales plans for assigned product modalities, leveraging deep clinical and technical expertise to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, aligning with account teams to achieve service sales quotas and business objectives.

  • Deliver compelling customer presentations highlighting the clinical and technical value proposition, competitive positioning and solution offerings.

  • Develop and drive balanced selling strategies, accurate forecasting and attainment of annual operating plan (AOP) targets.

  • Provide strategic input to Marketing on sales tools, pricing, and market trends, enabling competitive positioning and product growth.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records to track customer interactions, sales opportunities and market insights.

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, offering recommendations for product expansion and market competitiveness.

  • Manage sales funnels, ensuring sufficient qualified opportunities to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.

  • Develop and manage key account strategies and support channel partners to grow business in assigned territories.

  • Engage, support and collaborate with Key opinion Leaders in industry and within Customer organizations to understand healthcare needs and map/develop appropriate solutions.

  • Work closely and collaborate with MSS colleagues and Clinical Sales Specialist to harness synergy maximize customer impact and develop the monitoring business within South Africa.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, company policies and ethical business practices.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management or equivalent field.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within the medical monitoring environment (or similar ICU equipment) with a Bachelor’s degree, or minimum 3 years with a Master’s degree, in areas such as business development, clinical sales, or service.

  • Proven track record in sales presentations and delivering persuasive value propositions.

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance standards within the healthcare or medical device industry.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex data to inform strategic decisions.

  • Demonstrated sales acumen with a history of meeting or exceeding targets.

  • Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Proficient in competitor analysis and market intelligence gathering.

  • Experience implementing sales strategies and driving business growth.

  • Technical product expertise, preferably in medical monitoring or related modalities.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link solutions to customer needs.

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives and Lean methodologies.

  • Accurate and timely sales forecasting skills.

  • Experience in business development and identifying new growth opportunities.
