Description
Your core responsibility will be to drive new technical directions for Siri’s language understanding abilities. As a technical leader you will help shape our understanding of what’s possible and influence the development roadmap over the short and long term. You will engage with the state of the art in machine learning, natural language understanding and foundation models. You will identify opportunities, run experiments, build prototypes and partner with a broad team of ML and software engineers to help your ideas become reality.
Key Qualifications
  • Scientific understanding and practical experience with the state of the art in machine learning, including foundation models; knowledge of natural language understanding is desirable
  • Strong Python programming, debugging, and design skills
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to produce creative and innovative solutions to challenging problems
  • Enthusiasm for building great user experiences using machine learning
Education & Experience
MSc or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent proven experience.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
