Key job responsibilities
- As an Access Control Specialist you will use identity and access management (IAM) tools to assign permissions that align with each user’s role and responsibilities, ensuring they have the minimum access needed to perform their job efficiently.
- You will be responsible for provisioning access within enterprise software. This includes creating, updating, and revoking user access while configuring permissions in line with company policies and regulatory standards such as GDPR or HIPAA. - The Access Control Specialist oversees compliance by auditing access regularly and utilizing automation tools to streamline the user access lifecycle.
- By leveraging advanced IAM solutions you maintain a secure environment by monitoring access patterns and responding to potential security risks.
- As an Access Control Specialist you will provide access governance oversight to ensure a high security bar by evaluating, creating, and streamlining access policies and mechanisms.About the team

- 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience
- Experience scripting in modern program languages
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems

- Knowledge of web services, distributed systems, and web application development
- Experience with REST web services, XML, JSON
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
- Knowledge of Access Control patterns such as RBAC, ABAC, and GBAC
