The growing complexity of the Animal Health (AH) industry environment requires an evolution in the finance business partnership approach in order to ensure AH is perceived as differential in the way we create shared value with our key stakeholders.

Animal Health Associate Director Financial Planning & Analysis (m/f/d)

The job requires developing a comprehensive knowledge of the company’s operations, accounting and compliance policies, procedures, supporting systems and reporting tools. The candidate must have the ability to analyze, select and summarize essential information and present and explain the key elements to Senior Management, while meeting stringent reporting deadlines.

The ability to drive, lead, challenge and influence at a senior level is essential.

Duties and responsibilities

Participate in and support the financial planning processes by providing timely and high-quality analysis and data analytics to commercial leads.

Track performance against forecasts to understand and clearly articulate the drivers of performance.

Proactively challenge and drive continuous improvement of existing processes through optimization, standardization, and simplification

Lead and/or participate on special projects and initiatives representing AH Finance to drive new capabilities and efficiencies.

Be a “person-to-go” for diverse ad-hoc finance/data management related matters, commercial projects, and any finance ad-hoc requests.

Skills and Competencies

Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance experience.

Data Analytics and Data management skills

Advanced Excel, ideally with modelling expertise (SAP Knowledge is an advantage).

Knowledge of SAP/COMET/BPC/LPT is preferred.

Works effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, under pressure and with a high degree of professionalism and independently, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Strong communication (written and spoken), interpersonal, and organization skills required.

Desire to continuously learn and continue professional development.

Ability to work independently, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Fluent English (speaking and writing), German knowledge is an advantage
