The Infrastructure Operations organization is looking for Data Center Technicians to take AWS Data Center Operations to the next level. The position will help ensure overall availability and reliability to meet or exceed defined service levels of data center operations.You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. - 2+ years of Computer Hardware, including troubleshooting and repair skills.
- 1+ years of Computer Networking experience.
- 1+ years of experience with Storage Devices.

- A Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in an IT related field. Ability to take direction from Sr staff and management ability to work tickets in a ticketing system and provide details and have a keen sense of detail.
- Understanding of file systems and Operating systems such as Linux, Windows, MAC.
- Understanding of scripting languages.
- Previous experience working in a Data Center environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment).
- Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system Good understanding of Linux or similar Operating Systems Good understanding of network design, protocols and troubleshooting.
