Position Responsibilities:

ForETO (Engineering To Order) business there are different roles, requiring different competences andusing various tools to bring a project to a good end. Based on his confirmedcompetences and personal development plan an engineer can either become anexpert in one role or accumulate different roles.
Eachrole has specific responsibilities.

• Generate all required 3D design and drawings (P&ID and lay out) for customer approval conform the pre-engineering calculations and considering all safety regulations, applicable guidelines, and standards.
• Generate all required 3D detailed design and manufacturing drawings to allow operations to build the system.
• Correct storage of all design in Vault and aid the project engineer/leader in the review and release of design.
• Create the necessary new SAP materials/items according to the BOM.
• Support operations during the build:
  • Unclear or missing information
  • Resolve design errors
  • Process changes
• Update design ‘As Built’ after system is ready for shipping.
• Contribute to extend knowledge to cover the complete ETO portfolio within his area of expertise.
• Contribute to the implementation of new standards & directives in the daily processes.
• Assist in coaching and development of the EMEA and GES team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of electrical engineering work.

Additional responsibilities:

• Assist in planning of the department
• Identify and escalate technical issues and workload
• Collaborate with project engineer and or leader
• Identify opportunities to improve, gaps and needs to involve other departments (ISC, application/R&D, …)
• Be part of the global ETO model and contribute to working with common tools, standards and processes.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering

Skills (nice to have, but show potential to build up)

• Inventor and Vault knowledge
• SAP user knowledge
• MS Office tools: excel, word, power point
• ETO business processes knowledge
• Strong technical affinity
• Able to communicate effective and clear
• Must be proactive, results oriented, growth and customer focused
• Proven experience in resolving technical issues.

Language

• Dutch: professional proficiency
• English: professional proficiency
