Description
Your role is to make validation easier, faster, and more fun, to ensure high-quality silicon and products. Primarily, your role is to build tools that increase the level of abstraction validation engineers use to interact with hardware, and with testing processes. This role requires creative abstraction of both design specifications and data extracted from systems to create innovative tools for control, visualization, and analysis of Apple products. These tools can include anything from low-level JTAG interaction with electrical IPs, to diagnosis of test results across an entire lab of tests. You will work closely with engineers across groups including validation, hardware, software, design, and architecture to comprehend current processes and find impactful ways into the adjacent and far possible
Key Qualifications
  • Advanced level of Python programming
  • Familiarity with computer / system / SoC architecture
  • Imagination for building complex processes and making useful interactive user experiences a joy to use
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with revision control systems including at least git.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
