Technical & consultative skills

• B.E./BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering
• Expertise in hybrid/multi-cloud networking (firewalls and load balancers), IBM Cloud IaaS and PaaS technologies, workload migration tools, and security and compliance tools and methods.
• Experience with at least two IBM Cloud IaaS and PaaS services: VMware, VPC, Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes Service (ROKS), IBM Cloud Kubernetes Services (IKS), Veeam, Zerto, and IBM Cloud block and object storage solutions.
• Experience with IT transformation projects and knowledge of IBM Cloud concepts and architectural principles.
• Communicate and implement solution recommendations based on defined solution architectural designs, while also providing hands-on education regarding the solution and its component IBM Cloud technologies.
• Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly

Necessary Skills

• 3+ years of experience in IBM Cloud
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud solution implementation and migration or relevant industry experience
• Experience in VMware Design and Architect.
• Experience deploying and configuring solutions in VMware, including detailed knowledge of vCenter, vSphere, vMotion, NSX, vSAN and HCX components
• Experience in the use of workload migration tools such as VMware HCX, VMware vMotion, Veeam, Zerto etc.
• Experience in the development of cloud automation using Ansible, Terraform, DevOps etc.
• Experience in deploying and configuring IBM Cloud backup solutions such as Veeam, Spectrum Protect etc.
• Should have good understand of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solution in multi-cloud.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information to all levels.
• Ability to understand methods and work in a multi-disciplinary team with multiple stakeholders to implement a defined solution architecture and solution approach.
• Determined and self-motivated problem solver who can thrive in dynamic, ambiguous and customer-facing environments

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in deploying and configuring IBM Cloud Classic Infrastructure and VPC Solutions.
• Experience in deploying and configuring IBM Cloud for VMware Cloud Foundation solutions.
• Familiarity in deploying and configuring IBM Cloud Security and Compliance Center & Workload Protection.
• Experience with deploying and configuring IBM Cloud Internetworking services such as Transit Gateway, Direct-Links, Load balancers and Gateway appliances etc.
• Experience in deploying and configuring Backup and Disaster-Recovery solutions such as Veeam, Zerto, Spectrum Protect etc.
