Your key responsibilities
The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. That means you’ll need to think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues. You’ll also be collaborating with colleagues across multiple service lines, so we’ll look to you to build relationships and identify opportunities for our clients to benefit from our knowledge in other areas. Occasional travel may be necessary as you will be meeting with key clients, some of whom are the most respected in their fields.
- Lead the overall Life Sciences Digital Manufacturing Data Analytics and AI capability in EY Ireland and supporting EY Europe as required
- Work primarily with Life Sciences clients to define, build and integrate a series of analytics and AI use cases to improve their manufacturing plant performance and compliance
- Define and deliver the Digital Manufacturing strategic direction, including technology focus, standards, culture, and ways of working to align with the overall Analytics and AI growth strategy
- Expand our AI Lab capability and experience in Ireland to help clients understand, define and plan their Digital Manufacturing AI journey
- Develop and grow the Life Sciences Digital Manufacturing Data Analytics and AI team to ensure it has the right capability and capacity to meet client demand
- Strategically leverage networks to drive innovation, best practice and a continuous improvement culture across advanced manufacturing and aligned with EY’s wider Digital Factory capability
- Drive key relationships across internal and client stakeholders to help define and deliver the data engineering component of analytics solutions that will deliver business value.
Skills and attributes for success
- Relevant experience in consulting or industry with a minimum of 8 years of experience
- Direct experience of working in a Life Sciences manufacturing plant
- Strong academic record including a degree /MSc/PhD in either:
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Computer Science
