responsibilities

  • Review technical developments from government bodies and disseminate internally
  • Provide support on thought leadership and other publications
  • Plan and conduct tax update sessions
  • Keep abreast of developments in tax policy developments and legislation and sharing the knowledge with tax professionals on a timely basis
  • Develop guidance and enablers to assist tax professional in delivery of quality tax services
  • Provide support to tax professionals in dealing with the technical team on complex technical issues
  • Conduct regular discussions with leaders to determine alerts and publications required for clients

Skills and attributes for success

  • Good communication skills in both written and oral
  • Good technical and analytical skills

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A university degree in Accounting / Business Administration or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in Singapore tax
  • Keen interest in tax developments in Singapore and the region

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Tax Consulting experience in IRAS (or equivalent tax authorities) or another international accounting / consulting firm as a tax professional
  • An SCTP accreditation would be an added advantage
