The ME will work on the production floor as needed to ensure our products are produced safely, at the highest quality, delivered on time, and while maximizing


Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

  • Design and develop mechanical assembly processes for box builds, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of components and materials.
  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance productivity.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation, including test plans, assembly instructions, and process flowcharts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Train and support production staff on new processes and equipment to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor production performance metrics and report findings to management.
  • Write and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures,…)
  • Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience (Mechanical Engineering degree preferred)
  • MUST HAVE 1-3 years experience post internship
  • Strong understanding of assembly techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in MSWord, Excel (proficient) and Web based tools such as Frontpage and HTML
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, design drawings and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in mechanical box build assembly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively across teams.

Pay Range (Applicable to California) $107,400.00 USD - $147,700.00 USD AnnualProduction Engineering
