Global Tax Quality (GTQ) Communications and Operations– Supervising Associate

The GTQ Supervising Associate for Communications and Operations enables GTQ to proactively manage how it supports the Tax Service Line of today and the future by supporting publication of impactful communications and handling project management for Global Tax Quality responsibilities and special projects.
Your key responsibilities
Communications and Knowledge Management (60%)
- Promote Tax Quality initiatives and areas of focus by writing initial and subsequent drafts of Tax Quality articles, postcards, and other enablers for both targeted and broad audiences. Monitor consumption of such materials by the business and continually refine communication strategies to progress Tax Quality goals.
- Provide daily support on PowerPoint slides for various meetings within our Quality community and for Tax, Risk Management, and EY leadership.
- Provide daily support on managing GTQ content in Discover – executing frequent updates but also supporting the overall strategy for how we present our content, keep it current, and ensure it is meeting the needs of the business and being consumed.
- Cultivate relationships within EY Knowledge and Risk Management to facilitate appropriate representation of TQ content in Discover. Effectively use Discover-specific search engine optimization so that Tax policy content is findable.
Operations (40%)
- Execute Tax Quality logistics including the organization and facilitation of Quality Networks, Global Tax Quality Leadership Group meetings, and other forums in which the Tax Quality members gather and exchange information. Track action items from such calls and meetings.
- Maintain rosters and templates to facilitate appropriate access to Tax Quality content and drive consistent branding across our operations and communications.
- Demonstrate interest in new technologies, with a willingness to learn, adopt, and promote to enhance Tax Quality operations.
- Interface comfortably with executives in Global, Region, and Local Tax Quality.
- Act as the “engine” of Tax Quality, including project management and related activities as and when requested by Tax Quality Leadership, and proactively connect the dots between various initiatives and points of contact.
- Quantify and report Tax Quality’s performance and effectiveness across Regions and SSLs through various means including dashboard style presentations, newsletters, and leadership updates.

- Exceptional English writing and editing skills
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills – with demonstrated ability to compile, interpret, communicate, and recommend actions from large amounts of data
- Flexibility to participate in Teams calls outside of normal business hours in this global role
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Strong presentation skills
- Willingness to stay ahead of the learning curve with new technologies (an early adopter)
- Ability to tailor communication style and content to a variety of audiences
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years professional work experience
